Geeky romances are slowly becoming my thing, I love a nerd and this one was right up my street.
Adam is a down to earth guy, he’s a country boy and likes the simple things in life. When he is in desperate need for cash to help out his mom, he gets a job working as a fitness model with the model agency Teeg Models.
He is completely out of his element, he is not used to being objectified and that’s exactly what happens when he steps into this whole new world of fake parties and being fawned over.
Solo is the social media expert at Teeg Models, she wears cartoon leggings and ninja turtle pj’s and doesn’t care what anyone things of her quirky sense of style. She lives onsite at the models house, and has a strict ‘no models’ rule when it comes to relationships.
Her and Adam hit it off straight away, with Adam needing someone as grounded as she seems to be, and their shared love of Star Wars it’s a match made in heaven. The trouble is, Solo has been hurt before in the past by a model, and so she is very hesitant to trust Adam, even though he has given her no reason not to. She made me wanna give her a slap at times, she was so determined he was going to cheat on her that she couldn’t see what was right in front of her face. Other than that though, she was a great heroine and I thought she was adorable.
I really enjoyed the banter, and I will be very happy if this turns out to be a series because Adam’s fellow model roomates are a interesting bunch of characters as was Solo’s best friend, and the bitchy agency owner Zia.
Slight case of the instalove, but not too much to put me off completely.
I would definitely recommend.
This is a new adult romance, told in dual POV.
