Her life is like a prison cell.
A self-made, to-hell-with-the-free-world existence that locks from the inside.
Stop judging. Her agoraphobia doesn’t define her. It simply keeps her safe.

He belongs in a prison cell.
The 6×8, make-me-your-bitch variety that locks from the outside.
But he’s free. To hunt. To take. To break.
And he just found a sexy new toy.

Capturing her is the easy part. Her fucked-up mind, however, makes him question everything he does next.
But he’s a determined bastard. If all goes his way, this will hurt like hell.

It is recommended to read after Deliver, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Van Quiso is a captor of sex slaves, he is a dark and tortured soul. When I read Deliver there was no way in hell he was going to redeem himself but Pam Godwin has done a perfect job of doing just that. It’s been a year since Liv and Joshua escaped from him and he is still convinced he loves her, but not only that she is the only connection he still has with their daughter Livana.

Amber is an agoraphobic, has OCD and a severe lack of self esteem. One night when Van is stalking Liv, he comes across a fearful woman at the house next door. He is quite intrigued by her odd behaviour and she quite literally captivates him. He soon comes to the conclusion that if he helps her overcome her demons, she can help him get visitation with his daughter.

I loved Van’s and Amber’s relationship. From captive to lover, Amber is the perfect match for Van. He has found a purpose and a way of redeeming himself and although this is a dark and gritty book I thought it was a beautiful love story about healing and acceptance.

“I will always love you, I will always want you, and I will never ever be disappointed in you”

About the Author

Pam Godwin

New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Pam Godwin, lives in the Midwest with her husband, their two children, and a foul-mouthed parrot. When she ran away, she traveled fourteen countries across five continents, attended three universities, and married the vocalist of her favorite rock band.

Java, tobacco, and dark romance novels are her favorite indulgences, and might be considered more unhealthy than her aversion to sleeping, eating meat, and dolls with blinking eyes.
