Beard in Mind (Winston Brothers #4) by Penny Reid REVIEW &Giveaway

All is fair in love and auto maintenance.

Beau Winston is the nicest, most accommodating guy in the world. Usually.

Handsome as the devil and twice as charismatic, Beau lives a charmed life as everyone’s favorite Winston Brother. But since his twin decided to leave town, and his other brother hired a stunning human-porcupine hybrid as a replacement mechanic for their auto shop, Beau Winston’s charmed life has gone to hell in a handbasket.

Shelly Sullivan is not nice and is never accommodating. Ever.

She mumbles to herself, but won’t respond when asked a question. She glares at everyone, especially babies. She won’t shake hands with or touch another person, but has no problems cuddling with a dog. And her damn parrot speaks only in curse words.

Beau wants her gone. He wants her out of his auto shop, out of Tennessee, and out of his life.

The only problem is, learning why this porcupine wears her coat of spikes opens a Pandora’s box of complexity—exquisite, tempting, heartbreaking complexity—and Beau Winston soon discovers being nice and accommodating might mean losing what matters most.

I absolutely adore this series, I am SO happy that this fourth title in the series was a winner for me.

Beau is a brother that I have been dying to get my hands on, he’s the friendly one, the one who is popular with the ladies (more so than the others), and he is always putting other people first.

Shelly is the new mechanic at Winston Bros Autoshop, and she is a strange one to say the least, Beau can’t seem to work her out at all. She is rude, abrupt, and all kinds of tetchy – but something keeps him coming back, and he can’t help but see her brilliance underneath her cool demeanour.

Penny Reid is a genius in my eyes, she writes unique storylines that are both romantic, and clever. This story really opened my eyes on how blase we really are when joking about OCD, and it was so interesting to see how people can really suffer with this horrific disorder. I really felt for Shelly, she was an amazing character, and I loved so much how Beau loved her for all her oddities and was a true supporter throughout.

This series gives me all the feels, I can’t recommend it enough!
