He’s a player in more ways than one…

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hook-ups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he’ll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he’s worth a second chance.

Now he’s going to need to up his game…

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She’s not a charity case, and she’s not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He’ll have to work for it. This time around, she’ll be the one in the driver’s seat…and she plans on driving him wild.

Book 2 in the Off Campus series, follows Ice Hockey team-mate John Logan who just so happens to be in love with his best friends girlfriend. (Garrett & Hannah from Book 1) and is moping around and distracting himself with other girls when he accidentally meets Grace Ivers.

Grace is a freshman, she has a best friend who is the outgoing slutty one to her introverted and virgin ways and although she has few friends, she has great parents who love her.

When Logan knocks on her door, she thinks all her dreams have come true, especially when he stays for an orgasm! Trouble is, only one of the two of them has one, and he is determined to change that.

When Grace realises she has made a big mistake in trusting both her bff and man she was willing to lose her virginity to, she decides enough is enough and she is taking no shit from anyone any more, she wants her own life with her own friends and she won’t be letting anyone walk all over her or use her as a distraction ever again.

Logan has some serious grovelling to do.

For me, this was almost a 4 (Really Really Good), but not quite a 3.5 (It was Good) either but somewhere in between. I just didn’t get as many feels as I thought I would but I really enjoyed the humour, the banter between the team, and the fact that although Grace was a quiet and unassuming woman, she wasn’t a doormat and stuck to her guns when people let her down.

Logan was adorbs, and all he had to do was call Grace ‘Gorgeous’ and I was in a puddle of swoon.

I really enjoyed the parts where Logan is torn between his future hockey career and doing the right thing by his family, but the way it was all wrapped up was a bit rushed to say the least.

Personally, The Deal was my favourite out of the 2, but I have a feeling that Dean’s book will be my biggest winner – I’m claiming him now, just for the record!

This is a standalone, told in dual POV.
